Charles Dorn has more then 30 years of experience in the field having spent 12 years as General Manager of the Union Club of the City of New York. His Private Club experience also includes The Chemists' Club (General Manager), The Petroleum Club of Anchorage (Manager), and The Stock Exchange Luncheon Club (Assistant Manager) Dorn's experience also includes the Rye Town Hilton, Meadowlands Hilton, Guyan Golf and Country Club and Parker Meridien Hotel.
Charles Dorn has completed consulting projects for various clients throughout the world. Clients have included Windows on The World, Madison Square Garden, Lantana Beach Club in Bermuda, Plantation Bay Hotel and Casino in Aruba and Fiesta Americana's Coral Beach Hotel in Cancun.
Dorn received a Bachelor of Science degree from The Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston and attended The Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Dorn has continued his education at The Culinary Institute of America and at Beringer Vineyards.

For many years, Dorn has been involved in hospitality education. He serves on the Dean's Advisory Board at the Hilton College and has served on the Business Council of the University of New Haven's Hotel Program. Dorn currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management at New York University. He has lectured at the University of Houston, Cornell University, New York City Technical College and the Vocational Foundation in New York.

Dorn has served as Co-Chair for the Foundation for the Treatment of Children with Aids annual fund raising effort. He has been selected for Who's Who in the East and Who's Who of Professionals. Dorn was presented with the Founding Dean's Award, a Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Houston and was selected as the Tanqueray Club Manager of the Year in 2001.

Charles and his wife Karen, live in Rye, New York with their twins, Sam and Caroline and their son, Philip. In his spare time, Dorn is an avid gardener, cook, wine enthusiast and New York Ranger fan.
